Sakinaw Lake is just such a place, providing scenes that we remember forever and that is a good thing because we never know when the last night might be the last look.

Just like Arbutus #1, my camera is not registering the true blue of the background. What's that, 'maybe I should get a better camera?'
Well that might help but until then you will just have to see this one in person too.

One of those bright winter days where the frost clings to everything but without the sun cannot sparkle.
It adds to the thought that occurs as your eyes follow the fence ' into the forest, dark and deep'.

You need to see this one in person. For some reason my camera is making the background a green blue but in reality the background is a real BC blue - a blue like the colour of the sky in August when there wasn't a cloud in sight.
This was one of those days.
The Arbutus is the most sensual of trees - its shape and lines like a dancer caught in a single frame.
